Winter 2005

My hometown decided to do something different for the holidays. Not only did we have a tree lighting downtown, but they also illuminated City Hall various colors. My daughters and I went to see it together and it was beautiful. I love the way the statues stand out (look closely).

Here are some of the christmas cards I made this year. I really underestimated how many I needed and how long it would take me so I still have to buy some. but I think I did pretty good for a first-timer.

My first picture

Since I am new to blogging, posting this picture was a challenge. I think once I hit the peak of the learning curve I will be fine. This picture was from my aunt's 80th birthday party. Although I wasn't scrapbooking at the time, when I am scrapping I am usually in this position - head down, and concentrating. Today was a great day. I had a wonderful crab cake lunch with my co-workers and MJB's new cd dropped - definitely two of my favorite things.

My Fondest Memories

Growing up, the kitchen was the room where every decision was made. I remember sitting at the table with my mother talking about school, telling jokes, getting into trouble, talking about current events and catching up on the family . It was always a great surprise when I would come home and find one of my favorite aunts or uncles sitting there with my mother...two for the price of one! At the time, I didn't realize how precious these moments were. But now, the mother of two, I count each hour, second and minute as a blessing, hence my love of scrapbooking. I wanted to start this blog to join all of the other talented sisters in sharing their love of art, photography and preserving memories of those we love.
